Making an appointment allows you to choose the Doctor of your choice and helps to reduce your waiting time.  A separate appointment is required for each person to be seen.

It is very important to report to reception on arrival at the surgery.

Urgent appointments are available, but not always with the Doctor of your choice. We will endeavour to see any patient within 2 working days if so needed - but this can only work if respected by patients and will be at a time of the day and with such a Doctor that the Practice can organise.

Telephone - to speak to a Doctor, the best time to ring is just before the surgery. During surgery it is difficult for the Doctor to discuss matters whilst another Patient is present so leave a contact Telephone number and the Doctor will endeavour to phone you.

House Visits can be arranged with the Doctor when the Patient is medically too ill to travel, (or it may be more appropriate for the Doctor to arrange an Ambulance to the hospital)
In the event of a medical emergency an Ambulance may be requested by a Patient or relative by telephoning 999.

Disabled access is available.

Test results may be obtained by ringing Reception AFTER 4.30PM

Repeat prescriptions may be ordered through Reception in Person or by telephone; please allow 24 hours before collection. (Reception staff are not permitted to telephone prescriptions through to the Chemist).

Access to your medical records may be gained by prior arrangement with the Practice Manager.

Patient's Rights & Responsibilities
It is important that you let the Staff know if you cannot attend an appointment at our Practice. A large number of patients just  Do not attend  - this is rude and prevents other patients from getting an appointment.
It is important to gather your thoughts before entering a consultation- please don't leave important issues to the end, please try to mention all issues at the beginning.
You should try and learn the names of your tablets, rather than just the colours, sizes and shapes. Any Patient that is violent or abusive to the Practice members will be removed from the list forthwith. Rude patients will be asked to apologise.
