We will be having our Flu Clinic on the 18th October, for patients over 65 and for our immunocompromised patients aged 18-64yrs. Please contact the surgery to book an appointment or for further information after 10.30am. Our calls will be diverted to Dunville Health Centre in the morning, and in the afternoon we will be operating a triage for urgent calls only.
As from 30/4/24 we can only accept requests for a “doctor call back” until 10.30am each morning. If you have an emergency after this time please proceed to your local Emergency Department.
To enable us to manage our urgent medical calls effectively and in a timely manner, from 1st November 2023 we will be asking patients to order prescriptions on our automated phone system. Please phone the surgery and press 1 to leave a message, please leave your name date of birth, name of medication required and the strength of your medication. Prescriptions will be sent to your nominated chemist within 48 hours.
Please note! You can order prescriptions on our new automated prescription line, order online, or we can assist you by printing your medication on the right hand side of your prescription for use the next time you need to order. Ask your pharmacist to place the right hand side of your prescription in along with your medication. Please do not phone the surgery to talk to a receptionist to order prescriptions or call into the surgery to try to order prescriptions at the desk after 1st November.

We are a Queen's University Belfast Medical School Teaching Practice hosting Medical students on placement.
The curriculum and learning objectives for each stage in their undergraduate training ensures that by the end of medical school they have a broad understanding of the role of a GP and General Practice as a career option. They benefit hugely from speaking to patients, and many of our patients say how much they enjoy talking to medical students.
As a patient you may be seen by a medical student under the supervision of a qualified Practice clinician. You can, of course, decline this option.
Please do let our reception team know if you would prefer not to be seen by our student.
These are our doctors of the future and as a practice we are proud to be a part of their journey.
